What do I live for?
I sometimes have a question:
“What am I?”
One encounter, once in a lifetime…..
No mind, no thought….
Now, at this moment….
Impermanence, swiftness…..
I’m not prepossessed toward anything.
I’m not bound by anything.
I’m not wedded to anything.
I live as I really live.
I exist as I really exist.

When I am abstracted
such thoughts come chaotically
the moment when I am in nirvana

Several things I want to keep in my hands.
Is that dessin to paint and draw?
Or,
Is that dessin to erase and draw it again?
Do both endlessly and repeat them again and again.
So very pitiful and vain sometimes I felt,
Such days I spent.
For what purpose I make paintings?
And then,.....
Several objects I want to keep in my hands.
Being selfless through night
Having no conscious without trial and error
in front of the canvas
Just just watching
Then the works created unconsciously.....
Several works I want to keep in my hands.
The works through my arms
Through my mind
And through my life.
How holy for me
To get a joy of making paintings.

About my works
I was enchanted with monochrome,the beauty of nen-color,white, gray and black.
And I have operated my works from the view point of figurative and formative variations,
especially having a confrontation to the unlimited <connection > of <naught>
I think it's endless to investigate the three kinds of <connection> such as <time>,<space>
and <human>
As for <space>, it's very important even in our daily life, on the other hand both<space>
and <naught> are indispensable factor on the composition of paintings in spite of the
scale of works.
Non-color is also very much interesting subject for me as the matter of composition.
Among the non-colors such as white, gray and black, black is very delicate.
Warm or cool, it depends on the texture on the surroundings and on the slight difference
how to paint, otherwise dynamic, intellectual, fine, strong or gentle.
Therefore monochrome is very much fantastic color for me as no finish to paint.
Recently I am more interested in the simple foms like two dimensions, three dimensions
or minimal which l find in each object.
I believe <devoting> , selfless in short, is the most valuable thing for me.
And I hope I can continue to make paintings with a certain sense of existence.
